National access point

In order to ensure adequate working space for National access point and Central control center for surveillance and traffic management on state roads Croatian Roads Ltd have financed the construction of the facility in Karlovac, entirely with their own funds. The construction started in November 2018 and was completed in August 2019. The Use permit was issued on 30th September 2019. The facility is located on DC1 and DC36 intersection, nearby Toll station Karlovac. Nacional access point and Central control center will be situated on the ground floor and on the part of the first floor of the facility. Surface of one floor is around 260 square meters. The facility consists of three floors, one of which is ensured for the purposes of Karlovac District Office.  

For the purpose of equipping the National access point as well as Central control center, Croatian Roads have applied for CEF Crocodile project which is expected to ensure 85% of necessary financial assets. At this point the procedure of contracting provision, delivery and installation of the equipment is taking place. Deadline for implementation of the equipment is 31st December 2020.
